Highlights
- Rock Tech Lithium Inc. (TSXV: RCK; OTCQX: RCKTF; FWB: RJIB) has started its first exploration field program at the 9,875-hectare Victory lithium project near Kenora, Ontario, with first results expected in early 2027.
- The company has also hired Apaton Finance GmbH for investor relations and promotional services at €80,000 over roughly 12 months, subject to TSX Venture Exchange acceptance.
Historical grab samples returned up to 5.11% Li2O, but they are selective, not fully verified, and not a mineral resource; neither pegmatite has ever been drilled.
Rock Tech Lithium Inc. (TSXV: RCK; OTCQX: RCKTF; FWB: RJIB) has sent its first field crews to the Victory Project, a 9,875-hectare lithium property about 45 kilometers east of Kenora, Ontario. The company announced the program in an October 22, 2026, release distributed via PRNewswire.
The ground is early stage. Nobody has drilled it. What Victory does have is location: the Trans-Canada Highway runs alongside it, with rail, power transmission and a natural gas pipeline nearby. Plenty of Canadian lithium prospects sit hours from the nearest road. And Rock Tech is looking for future feed for a lithium converter it plans to build in Red Rock, Ontario.
Two Outcrops, Six Kilometers Apart
Victory hosts two known lithium-cesium-tantalum (LCT) pegmatites, named Last Resort and Bounty. Pegmatites are very coarse-grained igneous rocks. The LCT type can carry spodumene, the main lithium mineral mined from hard rock.
Both bodies are exposed at surface. Historical selective grab samples returned up to 5.11% lithium oxide (Li2O) at Last Resort and up to 3.48% Li2O at Bounty. Treat those figures with care. A grab sample is a hand-picked piece of rock, often the best-looking material at an outcrop, so it reveals little about a deposit’s average grade. Rock Tech has not fully verified them. Victory has no mineral resource or reserve estimate, and the company says there is no assurance further work will define one.
For a rough sense of scale, many hard-rock lithium deposits in production or development report average resource grades of about 1% to 1.5% Li2O, measured across millions of tonnes of drilled rock.
Between them lies the real target. Roughly 6 kilometers separate the two pegmatites, and that corridor has seen little systematic exploration. Through October, geologists and field technicians are sampling, mapping and running a high-resolution survey to trace outcrops, structures and pegmatite trends. Are Last Resort and Bounty isolated bodies, or parts of one larger lithium-bearing system? Results will feed into target selection for a first drill program planned for later in 2027.
The Converter Connection
Rock Tech secured an option to acquire 100% of Victory in June 2026. CEO Mirco Wojnarowicz said the structure ties most of the purchase price to project results, keeping upfront costs low.
Bigger ambitions sit downstream. Rock Tech intends to build a converter at Red Rock that would turn spodumene concentrate into battery-grade lithium chemicals, sized at approximately 30,000 tonnes per year of lithium salts. Its wholly owned Georgia Lake Project lies near that site. Victory is about five hours away by road, and Rock Tech also wants the converter to process spodumene from other companies’ projects.
That strategy aims at a real gap. Most of the world’s hard-rock lithium concentrate is refined in China, and North America has little conversion capacity of its own. A converter needs steady feed. Victory, if exploration succeeds, would be one more possible source.
Cameron Andrews, Rock Tech’s General Manager Canada, called the project a strong fit for the company’s supply chain model. Andrews also served as the Qualified Person who reviewed and approved the release’s technical content. He works for the company and is not an independent consultant.
A Paid Promotion Deal
Rock Tech also disclosed a roughly 12-month investor relations and promotional engagement with Apaton Finance GmbH of Hanover, Germany, effective October 22. Apaton will write English- and German-language articles for its own channels and third-party financial news sites in Germany and North America, and join online investor events and interviews.
Rock Tech will pay €80,000 plus taxes, in four quarterly installments of €20,000. Apaton receives no company securities as compensation, and Rock Tech describes it as arm’s length. Apaton’s Managing Director, however, personally holds 661,600 Rock Tech common shares and 230,800 warrants exercisable at $0.90 until August 21, 2029. So the head of the firm paid to promote the stock also has a direct financial stake in it.
TSX Venture Exchange acceptance is still pending. Mining Markets Report has no part in the arrangement and was not compensated for this coverage.
What Comes Next
First results are expected in early 2027, with drilling to follow later that year. Until then, Victory is a surface story: two outcrops, a handful of old high-grade samples, and kilometers of untested ground.
