Getty Copper Reports 150.3 Meters at 0.71% Copper at Getty South

Getty Copper Inc. (TSXV: GTC; OTCQX: GTCDF) reported four additional drill holes from its spring 2026 exploration program at the Getty South target in British Columbia’s Highland Valley district.

The latest Getty South drill results were led by hole GS26-06, which returned 150.3 meters grading 0.71% copper and 0.7 grams per tonne silver from 101.7 meters downhole.

The interval included 103.3 meters grading 0.94% copper and 46 meters grading 1.47% copper. A narrower 7.5-meter section returned 3.72% copper and 1.8 g/t silver.

Second Hole Returns 80 Meters at 0.84% Copper

Hole GS26-05 intersected 80 meters grading 0.84% copper and 0.5 g/t silver from 60 meters downhole. That interval included 45.2 meters grading 1.28% copper.

Hole GS26-04 returned three separate intervals, including 62 meters grading 0.44% copper from 120 meters downhole. Hole GS26-03 intersected 28.5 meters grading 0.23% copper from 168 meters.

The holes were drilled on sections approximately 25 meters north and south of hole GS26-01, which Getty reported earlier in September. That hole returned 184 meters grading 0.37% copper, including 28 meters grading 0.83%.

True Widths Are Substantially Shorter

Getty interprets the drilling as supporting a copper-mineralized body approximately 40 to 60 meters wide that trends north-northwest to south-southeast. The company said the zone remains open along strike and beneath the current drilling.

However, the reported assay intervals are drilled lengths rather than true widths. Getty estimates that true widths represent approximately 30% to 60% of the downhole intervals.

Further drilling is therefore required to determine the mineralized body’s geometry, orientation and continuity.

Copper occurs primarily as chalcopyrite with minor bornite in veins and hydrothermal breccia cement. Getty interprets the brecciation and mineralization as porphyry-related, although that interpretation remains subject to additional geological work.

Historical Data Carry Limitations

Getty South is located approximately seven kilometers north of Teck Resources’ Highland Valley Copper mill. The target was historically mined underground, most recently during the 1950s.

However, much of the historical drilling lacks complete assay, location or survey information, while some holes were only partially sampled. Getty began relogging available historical core during 2025 and 2026 to develop a modern geological model.

Mineralization at the nearby Highland Valley Copper operation does not indicate that similar resources or economic conditions exist at Getty South.

The Getty Property is 82%-owned by Getty Copper. Getty South does not currently have a compliant Mineral Resource or Mineral Reserve, and the new results do not establish economic viability.

Additional Drilling Planned

Assays remain pending for seven holes at Getty South and three holes at Getty North.

Getty is preparing a fully funded fall program comprising approximately 4,000 to 6,000 meters of drilling with two rigs. The program is expected to begin at Getty South before testing other exploration targets.

The company is targeting a Mineral Resource estimate covering Getty South and Getty North during 2027. Completion and timing of that estimate remain subject to drilling results, geological modeling, technical work and financing.

Reported intervals are downhole drilled lengths. True widths have not been fully defined and are estimated by the company at approximately 30% to 60% of the reported intervals. Getty South has no current Mineral Resource or Mineral Reserve, and historical exploration information carries significant limitations.
