BOA Resources Hits 22 Meters at 3.05% Copper at Ricci Lee

BOA Resources Hits 22 Meters at 3.05% Copper at Ricci Lee

BOA Resources Limited (ASX: BOA) reported a high-grade copper intersection from its ongoing reverse-circulation drilling program at the Ricci Lee prospect in Western Australia.

Hole 26NCRC023 intersected 22 meters grading 3.05% copper and 9.5 grams per tonne silver from 250 meters downhole.

The interval included nine meters grading 6.86% copper and 22.1 g/t silver from 257 meters. BOA said the deeper, bornite-bearing zone was encountered at an estimated vertical depth of approximately 220 meters.

New Hanging-Wall Lode Identified

The same hole returned a separate, shallower intersection of 10 meters grading 1.81% copper and 3.9 g/t silver from 133 meters.

That interval included three meters grading 4.96% copper and 11.1 g/t silver. BOA interpreted the result as a previously unrecognized hanging-wall lode approximately 50 meters west of the principal Ricci Lee mineralized zone.

The deeper intersection was drilled approximately 80 meters north of historical hole THC035, which returned 10 meters grading 5.12% copper from 218 meters. BOA said the latest result supports continuity between the two holes, although additional drilling and geological modeling will be required to establish the zone’s geometry.

Nine of First 10 Holes Return Copper

Three other holes were included in the latest assay batch.

Hole 26NCRC020 returned 12 meters grading 1.02% copper, including three meters at 2.77%. Hole 26NCRC025 intersected 19 meters grading 0.83% copper in the oxide zone, including 12 meters at 1.11%. Hole 26NCRC024 did not return a significant intersection.

BOA said nine of the first 10 Ricci Lee holes with reported assays encountered significant copper mineralization. Previously announced results included 14 meters grading 2.49% copper, including seven meters at 4.60%, and 15 meters grading 2.25% copper.

Assays from another 36 Ricci Lee holes remain pending. BOA has completed more than 13,000 meters of drilling across the wider Neds Creek Copper Project, with air-core results also pending from five additional prospects.

The company expects the drilling to support work toward a maiden Mineral Resource at Ricci Lee. Completion, timing, and potential size of any estimate remain uncertain.

Ownership Subject to Shareholder Approval

BOA currently holds a 49% interest in Neds Creek and operates the project. The company has proposed acquiring the remaining 51%, along with full ownership of the nearby Thaduna and Green Dragon deposits.

That transaction remains subject to shareholder approval at a meeting scheduled for Oct. 12, 2026. Until the acquisition closes, BOA should not be considered the sole owner of Neds Creek.

Ricci Lee does not currently have a Mineral Resource or Mineral Reserve. Resources reported at Thaduna and Green Dragon are separate deposits and should not be attributed to Ricci Lee.

Reported Widths Require Caution

All reported intervals are downhole lengths, and true widths have not been determined. The company calculated significant intervals using a minimum width of two meters above 0.2% copper, allowing up to two meters of internal dilution.

Samples were analyzed by Intertek in Western Australia, with higher-grade copper samples rerun using an ore-grade method. BOA reported using blanks, standards, and field duplicates as part of its quality-control program.

The results add evidence of copper mineralization and possible continuity at Ricci Lee, but they do not establish economic viability. No mine plan, Mineral Reserve, or economic study has been reported for the prospect.
