Osisko Metals Reports 256.5 Meters at 0.85% Copper at Gaspé

Osisko Metals Reports 256.5 Meters at 0.85% Copper at Gaspé

Osisko Metals Incorporated (TSX: OM; OTCQX: OMZNF) reported additional assay results from its 2026 drilling program at the Gaspé Copper project in eastern Quebec.

Hole 30-1228 intersected 256.5 meters grading 0.85% copper and 5.13 grams per tonne silver. The interval included 28.5 meters grading 4.74% copper and 27.4 g/t silver.

The hole tested an area approximately 800 meters west of the current Mineral Resource model and represents out-of-pit expansion drilling.

Drilling Extends Mineralization Near Historical Workings

Hole 30-1228 was drilled beneath the western margin of the Needle Mountain pit and passed through pillars associated with the historical B and C Zone underground workings.

Mineralization continued approximately 50 meters below the C Zone to a vertical depth of 275 meters. Osisko Metals said the result indicates the potential for higher-grade mineralization within residual pillars, between the historical zones and beneath the former workings.

Additional drilling will be required to determine the continuity and extent of that mineralization.

The reported interval is a core length. Osisko Metals estimates true widths at approximately 80% to 90% of reported core lengths.

Additional Holes Support Infill and Expansion Work

Osisko Metals reported 28 mineralized intercepts from 12 holes. The results include both infill drilling within the current resource model and expansion drilling outside it.

Hole 30-1235 returned 257.5 meters grading 0.39% copper, while hole 30-1233 intersected 177.5 meters at 0.40% copper. Hole 30-1226 returned 101 meters at 0.44% copper, and hole 30-1234 intersected 67.7 meters at 0.63% copper.

The infill holes are intended to support the potential conversion of Inferred Mineral Resources into the Measured or Indicated categories. Expansion holes are testing mineralization currently classified as waste within the conceptual pit or located outside the present resource model.

New drilling results do not automatically increase or upgrade the Mineral Resource. Further geological modeling and an updated estimate would be required.

Gaspé Hosts a Large Existing Resource

Gaspé Copper has pit-constrained Measured and Indicated Mineral Resources totaling 1.83 billion tonnes grading 0.32% copper equivalent. Inferred Mineral Resources total approximately 239 million tonnes grading 0.46% CuEq.

The CuEq calculation incorporates copper, molybdenum and silver using company-selected metal prices, estimated metallurgical recoveries, payable-metal factors and other operating assumptions.

Mineralized intervals were calculated using a 0.12% CuEq cutoff. The headline grades for hole 30-1228 are reported as copper grades rather than copper-equivalent grades.

Mineral Resources are not Mineral Reserves and do not have demonstrated economic viability. Gaspé remains a development-stage project, and no construction or production decision has been announced.

More Assays Expected

Osisko Metals said results are arriving more quickly as drilling continues.

“New assay results are now being received at a faster pace,” CEO Robert Wares said. The company expects to provide additional drilling updates throughout the fall.
