Argenta Silver Reports 1,599 g/t Silver Over 4 Meters at El Quevar

Argenta Silver Reports 1,599 g/t Silver Over 4 Meters at El Quevar

Argenta Silver Corp. (TSXV: AGAG; OTCQX: AGAGF) reported new step-out drilling results from the Yaxtché deposit at its wholly owned El Quevar silver project in Salta Province, Argentina.

Hole QVD-475 intersected 1,599 grams per tonne silver over 4 meters from 310 meters downhole. The interval included 2 meters grading 2,780 g/t silver.

The hole was drilled approximately 100 meters northwest of the existing Mineral Resource boundary. A deeper section returned 192 g/t silver over 6 meters from 389 meters, including 259 g/t over 2 meters and 484 g/t over 1 meter.

Southeast Step-Out Returns 122 g/t Silver

Hole QVD-479 tested an area approximately 130 meters southeast of the current resource boundary. It intersected 122 g/t silver over 9 meters from 145 meters downhole, including 1 meter grading 553 g/t silver.

Argenta said the northwest and southeast results support an approximately 20% to 25% expansion of Yaxtché’s drilled footprint since the current campaign began in May 2025. That figure represents the company’s geological interpretation and not an increase to the project’s Mineral Resource.

The new intervals lie outside the existing resource model. Additional drilling, geological modeling and an updated resource estimate will be required before any of the mineralization can be included in a Mineral Resource.

Carmen Hole Intersects Gold and Copper

Separate drilling at the Carmen target intersected a broader gold-copper zone below silver mineralization reported earlier in the year.

Hole QVD-465 returned 46 meters grading 0.45 g/t gold and 0.19% copper from 233 meters downhole. The interval included 4 meters grading 1.28 g/t gold and a separate 1-meter section containing 1.71 g/t gold, 2.43% copper and 100 g/t silver.

Argenta said the result reduced the untested distance between the Yaxtché deposit and the Carmen target to approximately 120 meters. The company interprets the silver-dominant Yaxtché system and the Carmen gold-copper mineralization as potentially connected at depth.

That interpretation remains preliminary. Current drilling has not established continuous mineralization across the remaining gap or determined whether the Carmen zone could support a separate Mineral Resource.

Resource Update Targeted for 2027

The existing Yaxtché estimate contains an indicated Mineral Resource of 2.93 million tonnes grading 482 g/t silver, representing approximately 45.3 million contained ounces.

It also includes an inferred Mineral Resource of 310,000 tonnes grading 417 g/t silver, containing approximately 4.1 million ounces. The estimate has an effective date of Sept. 30, 2024 and predates Argenta’s current drilling campaign.

Since May 2025, the company has completed more than 27,500 meters across 92 holes. Two rigs remain active on resource-expansion and exploration targets.

Argenta has also sampled 4,372.6 meters of previously unassayed core from 171 historical holes. Initial results have been received from 85 holes, with the remaining data expected to contribute to the project’s revised geological model.

The company is targeting an updated Mineral Resource estimate during the first quarter of 2027. Completion and timing of the estimate remain subject to outstanding assays, geological interpretation and technical work.

True Widths Remain Uncertain

All reported intervals are core lengths. Argenta estimates that true widths could represent approximately 60% to 85% of the reported lengths, but said drill density and remodeling remain insufficient to calculate exact true widths.

The company reported using standards, blanks and duplicates as part of its quality-control procedures. Half-core samples were prepared by ALS Laboratories in Mendoza, Argentina, and analyzed in Lima, Peru. Overlimit silver values were determined through fire assay with a gravimetric finish.

The assays provide additional exploration information but do not establish a Mineral Reserve or demonstrate that El Quevar can be developed economically. Mineral Resources that are not Mineral Reserves do not have demonstrated economic viability.
