Goliath Resources Ltd. (TSXV: GOT; OTCQX: GOTRF) has reported new drill results from the Surebet discovery at its wholly owned Golddigger property in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle.
The headline result came from hole GD-26-436, which intersected 7.38 grams per tonne gold equivalent over 35.7 meters near surface. The interval included 19.51 g/t AuEq over 8.32 meters.
Silver Lifts the Headline Grade
The 35.7-meter interval contained average grades of 3.02 g/t gold and 264.37 g/t silver, along with smaller amounts of copper, lead and zinc. The higher-grade 8.32-meter section contained 3.74 g/t gold and 975.34 g/t silver.
A separate 3.10-meter interval within the hole returned 46.49 g/t AuEq, including 6.98 g/t gold and 2,447.25 g/t silver.
Goliath said the mineralized section contained visible gold and native silver associated with several sulphide minerals. Reported intervals represent drill-core lengths, with the company estimating true widths at approximately 80% to 90% of those lengths.
Gold-equivalent grades were calculated using metal prices of $4,222.08 an ounce for gold and $67.76 an ounce for silver, along with stated prices for copper, lead and zinc. The calculation does not include recovery factors and is intended for comparative purposes.
Additional Zones Return Gold
Hole GD-26-426 intersected two mineralized sections at Surebet. One returned 5.18 g/t gold over 4.50 meters within a wider interval of 2.81 g/t over nine meters. The second returned 7.85 g/t gold over three meters within 4.22 g/t over 5.80 meters.
At the nearby Eldorado Zone, hole GD-26-431 returned 5.83 g/t gold over 5.95 meters, including 11.42 g/t over 2.90 meters. Gold-equivalent assays for these intervals remain pending.
Goliath has completed 52 of 98 holes planned for its 2026 program, representing 31,994 meters of drilling. The fully funded program calls for approximately 50,000 meters using seven drill rigs.
Exploration Continues
The company said all holes completed during the 2026 campaign have encountered quartz-sulphide mineralization. Visible gold has been identified in 33 of the first 52 holes.
Expansion drilling will continue at the Bonanza, Golden Gate and Surebet zones. The wider property covers 91,518 hectares and includes five modeled gold-mineralized systems containing multiple stacked lodes and veins.
The results add geological information about the extent and continuity of mineralization, but they do not establish a mineral reserve or demonstrate that a mine would be economically viable. The release does not provide a mineral resource estimate, mine plan, capital estimate or economic study for the Surebet discovery.
